This letter is an appeal for help.


We, at ThirdStep.org, need your help.
 
ThirdStep.org is almost five years old now. Over these years the ministry has been used to bless countless numbers of souls and my wife and I have been blessed immensely.  It has been a true honor to serve in the ministry of ThirdStep.org.
Hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people have visited the ministry over these years, seeking a solution to their seemingly hopeless condition or dilemma. Most have been seeking a relationship with the one true God that they have never really believed in or understood. So many have come seeking a relationship with an indefinable or purposeless god and discovered that the true solution was in Jesus Christ . The Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible. It has been and is such a beautiful thing to participate in. Yes, we at ThirdStep.org are truly blessed.

As some of you know, I am disabled.  About 7 or 8 years ago I was helping some friends move and a refrigerator fell off the truck and smashed my right hip and lower back. I lost the use of much of my  right side, from the waist down. Then in 2004 I had to have urgent brain surgery that resulted in the loss of much of my equilibrium. (which is our ability to stand unassisted and walk) With the help of a cane and my wife, I am able to get around pretty well today.
Thank-you Heavenly Father, you are truly a faithful God.   
                                                                                                                                                             
The plot thickens however. In 2007 Kate and I were stopped in a left hand turn lane, waiting for an opening in traffic to make a turn, when we were front ended by a truck going about fifty mph. Kate is the one who was hurt. She was seriously injured. Kates back was hurt, big time, and she requires a life time of treatment and health  care.

Kate and I support ThirdStep.org, our living expenses and our health care with my social security disability check. That’s it.  This letter is an appeal for your help.  For almost two years now, we have spent over $700.00 a month more than our income. We have exhausted our savings and are running out of options.

Can you afford $5.00 a month as a gift to help us?

Can you afford and have the heart to help us with a $5.00 gift to help us and the ministry? $5.00 a month is not much, but we trust God, that enough supporters will make a small donation and thus make this work.

We are not a 501c3. You cannot deduct anything from your taxes for your gift. This would be simply a gift from your heart.

Immediate special need of ThirdStep.org

ThirdStep.org’s computer crashed. We have been usinsing a Dell 3000 with 1 gig of RAM and two hard drives for the last 4 years or so. It served the ministry very well, as it was used very much. A few weeks ago the C drive crashed with over 35 gigâ℄s of files and programs on it. It has rendered the ministry crippled for now. Our resident experts have informed me that the machine needs to be replaced. But all was not lost, we had about 95%  of  it backed up on an external hard drive. But, the bad news is that our internet ministry does not have a computer right now.  I am typing this on a public computer.
